Many opportunities are provided for students to be involved in College life through a wide variety of academic, cultural and sporting activities. Skills and qualities of sportsmanship, responsibility and ‘school spirit’ are developed and celebrated through a range of sports.

The art of public speaking and debate establishes an avenue for the confident expression of an informed voice. Our students are exposed to the discipline of an inspiring variety of art forms, both through classroom programs and through experiencing their cultural significance in its many styles.

Our annual College Musical is a highlight for our community.

Importantly students at Guilford Young College are also encouraged to learn about and support their local and global community. Through tutor groups, subjects, student committees and other extra-curricular groups, students are involved in many outreach programs throughout the year, including the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Our sports include athletics, badminton, basketball, canoe polo, cricket, cross country, equestrian, football, hockey, netball, rowing, sailing, soccer, surfing, swimming, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, water polo.
