“I was at an association College. GYC was the natural next step.
I liked the open spaces at Glenorchy. It’s easy to get around. It’s a pretty flat campus. People were friendly and it’s really diverse. Anyone is welcome.”
“If you have an interest then GYC can accomodate it. There’s a huge range of classes here. I enjoyed Community days and Focus days. You put yourself out there and it’s different from being in a classroom.”
“In my first year at GYC I towed my friends around with my wheelchair like a train!
I got into a bit of trouble but I’m sure the teachers could see the funny side.”
“I like designing things and learning how to design.
I studied computer and design, photography and housing and design. At GYC you get an opportunity to be as creative as you want!”
