As we come to the end of another year, I am filled with gratitude for the many moments of growth, achievement and connectedness we have shared. We have been guided by our faith and by our values of connection, courage and growth and what has come to fruition is the remarkable resilience and determination students have shown in their courses, in VET, the Arts, sport and through service to the community.
I thank our dedicated teachers; their commitment to providing outstanding learning opportunities and pastoral care has been instrumental in shaping the positive culture of our college.
Our non-teaching professional staff are the backbone of our community and support everyone in ways often unseen but without them, the pieces of the tapestry would be incomplete.
To our families, thank you for your partnership in this journey. Your encouragement and collaboration underpin all that we do. We have built a community where everyone feels valued and supported.
As our graduating students embark on the next chapter of their lives, we send them forth with our prayers and blessings. May they carry with them the lessons, friendships and faith they have cultivated here at Guilford Young College.
Finally, as we prepare to celebrate the joy of Christmas, let us take a moment to reflect on the message of hope and renewal that the season brings. May it inspire us to embrace 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude.
