The work of six Guilford Young College art students will feature in  ArtRage 2018, the annual Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery art exhibition that results from student examination displays from around the State.

The young artists are Anna Reid, Bridie Stolp, Ellie Newland, Hannah Charlesworth, Ned Daniels and Zakkary Long.

Anna, Bridie and Zakkary were also GYC Art Prize recipients from the GYC Art Exhibition 2018.

The QVMAG describes ArtRage as an “unique and inspiring snapshot into the creative minds of talented Tasmanian students at the height of their art making abilities”.  It is the work of students studying pre-tertiary visual arts.

At the time of this post, the QVMAG had not posted any details of the 2018 exhibition. However the 2017 exhibition ran from mid-December 2017 until mid April and was displayed in Launceston, Burnie and Hobart.

Each piece of the student’s work below is from a much larger work. The caption indicates who much of the whole work will be on display.
