Spreading some Christmas cheer and goodwill to the community is one of the many ways in which Guilford Young College supports the work of the St Vincent de Paul Society during the year.

Again this year, the Glenorchy Campus responded generously to a call from the Glenorchy Vinnies conference to provide Christmas treats for a family of five living in the Glenorchy area. The presents, food and gift vouchers were collected late in November. GYC staff from both Campuses and alumni supported the StVdP Christmas Dining with Friends that was held in the city in the middle of December. The venue was decorated, tables set with Christmas themes and a delicious meal based around the traditional Christmas foods was served to guests from as far away as Brighton. Conversation was also enjoyed as the GYC personnel ate with the guests.
