Benjamin finds his passion in exercise science
He then completed a Certificate III in Gym Instructing and a Certificate IV in Personal Training. Level 1 and 2 in Strength Conditioning followed, as did a move to Melbourne where he tried his hand at personal training.
When he didn’t find that challenging enough, he started an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science (Sports Practice) four years ago at Victoria University.
Benjamin graduated in December 2016 with a perfect grade point average of 7, achieving High Distinctions for all the 24 units he completed.
At the invitation of the Dean of Exercise Science, Benjamin, along with his family, will attend a ceremony on 13 July at which his exceptional academic achievements will be acknowledged.
Also given his outstanding results, he was approached to start an internship with the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2015. Still with the Doggies, he is specialising in GPS Tracking on game day for the Footscray Bulldogs in the VFL.
This year, Benjamin started an Honours year with the aim of beginning his PhD in 2018.
